Context

What was actually happening.

Business context

ANXIETEA is a challenger tea brand from Sreemangal built around the positioning “Tea for overthinkers.” The commerce experience needed to feel as distinctive as the idea itself while still behaving like a clear, trustworthy and accessible Shopify store.

Challenge

The creative idea was strong, but the risk was building a visually memorable brand that became difficult to shop. The storefront had to preserve the overthinking concept while keeping product discovery, variants, cart behaviour, trust and accessibility commercially sound.

What we built

The system around the problem.

01Distinctive D2C positioning and brand expression
02Custom Shopify storefront architecture
03Homepage, collection, PDP and cart experience
04Product and Sreemangal-origin storytelling
05Social proof, trust and newsletter journeys
06Lifecycle and retention planning

Approach

Why we made these choices.

We translated the brand idea into a structured Shopify build across defined sprints. The system connects a concept-led hero and editorial storytelling with practical commerce patterns across featured products, collection filtering, product detail, cart, brand story, social proof, newsletter and trust. Reduced-motion and server-rendered behaviour were treated as product requirements rather than afterthoughts.

Result

What changed.

The project established a coherent Shopify foundation where brand voice and commerce logic can grow together. Instead of treating identity, storefront and retention as separate jobs, the experience is designed as one D2C system from first impression through product exploration and repeat engagement.

Brand storytelling, product discovery and commerce designed as one connected D2C experience.
